His final assignment for the Super Bowl took place in 2021 when Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prevailed against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Tillman had previously played for the Arizona Cardinals. During his service in Afghanistan in 2004, he was accidentally killed by a friendly fire.
