Pricing and Platforms

Good news – Rocket League Sideswipe is a free download, so you can dive into the action without spending a penny. It's available on both iOS and Android, making it easy to challenge friends no matter what device they have. While the base game is free, there are in-app purchases if you want to deck out your car with extra swag. Prices for in-app goodies vary, but you can still enjoy the game and compete at the highest level without breaking the bank. Rocket League Sideswipe keeps the playing field level for all players.

Gifts and bonuses

In every Sideswipe Season, there are three Ranked playlists to dive into: Solo Duel (1v1 Soccar), Doubles (2v2 Soccar), and a unique special playlist. Players maintain a separate rank for each playlist, and these ranks refresh at the beginning of every new Season. As the Season concludes, the highest rank you achieve across playlists, along with any wins at that rank, determines the Season Rewards you receive.

For instance, if your top rank in Season 12 is Platinum Division I in Hoops, and you've secured a victory at that level, you'll earn the Season 12 Platinum Banner, Season 12 Platinum Title, and Season 12 Hoops Platinum Title once Season 13 kicks off. Additionally, you'll receive Banners from the previous Rank Tiers.

While the peak rank in special playlists influences your primary Season Rewards, the peak rank in regular playlists doesn't impact the special Season Rewards you obtain. To illustrate, if your highest rank in Season 12 is Gold Division I in Solo Duel, and you finish the Season at Silver Division I in Hoops (with victories at both ranks), you'll be rewarded with the Season 12 Gold Banner, Season 12 Gold Title, and Season 12 Hoops Silver Title at the beginning of Season 13.

Whenever you make progress and level up in Sideswipe, you'll score a Bonus Win in Rocket League. Then, when you clinch a victory in an Online Match in Rocket League, you bag some extra XP for that Bonus Win. The cool part is, it works both ways! So, leveling up in Rocket League also nets you a Bonus Win in Sideswipe. Once you secure a win in an Online Match in Sideswipe, you pocket additional XP for that Bonus Win too.
