Preview of the Hungary Grand Prix 2023

With rigorous study and a reference to earlier races, here is how the Hungary F1 2023 is predicted to go. This weekend, the eleventh race of the 2023 Formula One calendar will be held. Aside from the McLaren team being a complete menace this year, Max Verstappen has particularly stood out all year, and the question that keeps popping up is how long he can maintain this impressive run.

Will the Red Bull racing team break the record?

The Red Bull racing team has dominated the 2023 F1 season without a single doubt. They have won ten races this year, and considering they won the last race in 2022, they are currently on an eleven-race winning streak matching the all-time record held by McLaren. No F1 constructor is close to Red Bull racing presently, as we see them potentially setting a new record in Hungary.

McLaren is no joke!

Lando Norris showed that his performance in the Austrian grand prix was no fluke with how he raced in the British Grand Prix. The British driver was only about three seconds behind winner Verstappen. He finished P2, while his fellow driver Oscar Piastri finished P4 to drop their best performance in 2023. This is McLaren’s first podium appearance since Imola 2022. Silverstone was a perfect fit for MCL60s as McLaren emerged as the second-fastest team.

Mercedes still has work to do

Mercedes scored 25 total points at Silverstone, which is their second-best season total. The first significant improvements for Mercedes happened in Monaco, and they clearly paid off because they finished P2 and P3 in the race that followed, the Spanish GP. Despite the uproar that the constructors have cracked the code, it appears they have regressed, as their best result since then is a P3 in the recently finished British GP. For Mercedes to challenge for Championship, they still have a lot to do.

Formula 1 Hungary GP 2023 race prediction

Race winner

Although it’s a considerable risk to bet against Verstappen in the 2023 Formula 1 season, we will do just that in the Hungarian GP. McLaren’s Lando Norris has been showing promise recently, and his impressive P2 finish in the British GP shows that it might just be time to jump on his ship. With McLaren’s new upgrade, they might have enough to dethrone the Red Bull racing team in the Hungary GP. Back Lando Norris to break McLaren’s winning streak.

Pick: Lando Norris to win.

Odd: 17.00

After the British Grand Prix, fans and experts are looking forward to the Hungarian Grand Prix, wondering if rivals can threaten Verstappen’s dominance and keep him from winning another World Championship. For more F1 race previews and predictions, follow FBR.
